'Ram' is a word within the ancient language of Sanskrit whose meaning is that which is 'pleased' that which 'enjoys' that which 'rejoices' and that which is 'happy'.

'Ram' whose meaning is to 'please' to 'enjoy' to 'rejoice' expands and becomes 'Rama' whose meaning is 'dear' and 'beloved' and 'charming' and 'beautiful' and 'lovely'.

'Rama' is also the name of the great 'Avatara' who descended as the 'perfect king' as can be seen within the great epic of India which is famously known as the 'Ramayana'.

'Rama' whose meaning is 'charming' and 'lovely' and 'beautiful' expands as 'Ramati' whose meaning is one who likes to 'remain in one place' and 'pleasing resort'.

'Ramati' meaning 'pleasant resort' is borrowed by Greece who add a prosthetic 'E' and this becomes 'Eramos' and 'Eramites' meaning 'lonely place' and 'solitary devotee'.

'Ramati' whose meaning is 'pleasant resort' continues within Greece as 'Heremia' meaning 'solitude' and 'Heremeo' meaning 'tranquil' and 'Heremizo' meaning 'calm'.

'Rama' whose meaning is to 'love' to 'please' to 'delight' is once again borrowed by the Greeks who add an 'E' to create 'Eramai' meaning to 'love' to 'desire' to 'long for'.

'Rama' which becomes 'Eramai' whose meaning is to 'love' is also the origin of 'Eros' the god of love within Greece and also words such as 'Erotic' and 'Erogenous'.

'Rama' is a word which goes back in time at least 5000 years to the Rig Veda and the Puranas and even further to the Ramayana which is said to be much, much older.

'Rama' a word which the Greeks add an 'E' to become 'Eramai' is then borrowed by the language of Latin who drop the 'R' to create 'Amare' whose meaning is 'love'.

'Rama' meaning to 'love' which becomes 'Amare' meaning to 'love' becomes 'Amateur' meaning one who does it for 'love' and 'Amenity' which is something we 'love'.

'Rama' whose meaning is to 'love' which becomes 'Amare' meaning to 'love' becomes 'Amigo' whose meaning is 'friend' and 'Paramour' whose meaning is 'lover'.

'Rama' meaning to 'love' which becomes 'Amare' meaning to 'love' is also seen within 'Amadeus' the name for 'Mozart' whose meaning is a lover ( amare ) of god ( deus ).

"Of purifiers I am the wind; of the wielders of weapons I am Rama; of fishes I am the shark, and of flowing rivers I am the Ganges." Gita 10.31

"Why was India a world power ? Sri Krishna lived in this country, Sri Rama lived here and Lord Buddha. Their teachings made India a great world power." Rukmini Rani Arundale.

Try to always study our books and see our philosophy from different lights of directions, become convinced yourself of this knowledge and without a doubt all of your difficulties of mind will disappear forever and you will see Krishna face-to-face.
