As Vaisnavas, we have a rare opportunity to understand how world events are ultimately shaped. The cause of all causes is not just that events are taking place in Kaliyuga, or that it’s a demoniac culture, but that there’s an asiddhantic philosophy behind all the action. As devotees, we're able to identify what that bogus philosophy is.

In the case of this film, "Let Your Life be a Friction to Stop the Machine", the overall philosophy is Capitalism and Democracy, which are both bogus constructs. But as Srila Prabhupada identified, the fact is that Darwinism is at the root of modern evil. And Darwinism is the overriding equivalent of Mayavada philosophy. In other words, it’s a demoniac philosophy that is shaping all societal activity, both individual and collective.

The bewildered karmis are trying to put their finger on the cause, but they can never see the real truth, the complete truth, because they're not connected to the Sampradaya Acaryas.

Our purpose in posting this very heavy video is not to encourage the devotees to get involved in radical politics, or entangled in political activism. The point is that the video stands as an excellent example of the fact that at the core of every problem, there is a philosophical problem. This film is a vivid reminder that we must take heed of sastric declarations on the dangers of maya in Kaliyuga. Seeing truth through the eyes of sastra, the lives of devotees inherently serve as friction in the great materialist machine.
